There are two versions of A. One is a star, and the other is the swirl.

Differences

The difference is in where they are used and the context. In Hindi, there are two versions of the word birds—punchi and chidiya. Punchi is the more poetic version of birds, while chidiya is the common term. With this in mind, I made the star the more “poetic version”, only to be used once, usually at the start or end of a word. This also implies the word or statement is important or liked. The regular swirl will be used more often and holds less significance to the word.

Creation process:

While I was making A, I based it on the capital A, which I thought looked like a star (☆), so I chose the star

, but it didn’t flow with the cloud shape (?), so I made the second version.

How to draw

A-Star: You can do it the way with connections. I don’t know what that is called.

A-Swirl: I’d recommend starting at the inside of the swirl, then continuing out with the line on top.
